Vinyl Fences

I went to visit my folk’s home three days ago. The neighborhood looked different that I almost thought I was lost. Good thing I recognized mom’s new pet dog, a Chihuahua, sitting beside the doghouse. So, I headed to that direction and smiled to see mom already walking towards me. Dad was at the porch and asked me what took me long. I said, there have been a lot of changes in the area that I could hardly remember this was the place where I grew up. He said, everyone had their fences converted to vinyl fences. Well, yes that’s pretty obvious, I thought, but still I wasn’t able to tell the difference so I asked, “What’s with vinyl fences“? Mom, in stead explained that they decided to use prefabricated fences made of PVC plastic so to lessen the maintenance expense because these ones don’t require yearly repainting. The only downside is that it needs regular cleaning. She added that vinyl fences look exactly like the regular wood or ornamental style fences minus the rots. After a day, their neighbors noticed how beautifully their fences were designed and asked them where they got them. One neighbor even noticed the vinyl post caps. I did too and they are really nice. My mom only complained of the expense, since PVC is a bit more expensive than other materials, but she also added that at least vinyl fence are low maintenance. Now, vinyl fencing is becoming more and more popular because aside that it requires low maintenance, it is also durable and flexible, safe for children because vinyl fencing have no nails or sharp parts and the colors don’t fade so there’s no need for repainting. Dad, gave the final words, vinyl fences over time could be about one-third the cost of a wooden fence. Very practical.
